I'm gonna show you how to make your highly requested recipe of Achar Gosht Biryani, which brings back so many happy memories!

1 kg lamb meat
3 tbsp oil , 6 tbsp yogurt, 3 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
4 tbsp @ShanFoodsGlobal Achar Gosht masala
1 tbsp kashmiri chilli
4 onions, sliced finely and fried
3 tbsp oil, 1 bay leaf, 2 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise , 4 cardamom pods
4 cloves Handful of fresh mint
and fresh coriander, chopped
For Rice

In a large pot of boiling water, add in the salt, whole spices and rice and par- boil the rice until 80% cooked and drain in colander and leave aside To the meat, pour in oil, add yogurt, ginger and garlic paste and kashmiri chilli. Mix and leave to marinate for 2 hours or overnight. In a pot pour in oil, add in whole spices and add the marinated meat. Water from the meat will start to release at this point cut the tomatoes in small pieces and stir in . Cook for 15 minutes until the tomatoes have dissolved. Add 1 cup of water if no liquid remains in the pot and pressure cook until meat is tender, for 4-5 whistles. Remove the lid carefully and crush in the the fried onions, leaving some for garnish. Add in a handful of fresh coriander and mint. Scatter the bottom of pot with half of the rice, and top with the meat masala. Mix 2 tbsp Shan Achar Gosht with 2 tbsp lemon juice, make a paste and slit a few bullet chillies and fill and place the chillies on top. Scatter over the remaining rice. Heat the saffron in a small frying pan on low heat until lightly crisp. Mix in the water and pour over the rice and sprinkle over fried onions. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, and with the buid up of steam the rice will fully cook through and the biryani will be ready to serve with Sweet lassi, salad, and pickles. Enjoy!

Thank goodness she put everything in the right order with all the correct ingredients unlike other recipies I've seen. The only step I would change is that after putting in the spices, cook them for a few minutes before adding the tomatoes. Not together. Also you stir the rice after you add the water or the rice will break. Thank you for your lovely recipe. I am Memon and I like your recipe. You can also use this as a base recipe and personalise it if you wish. You can make it with Red meat, fish, Shellfish or veg and mix and match. It's very hearty and tasty. I haven't made it for a while and you have made me want to make some. 😁

Since you’re using self-raising flour, it already has baking powder incorporated in there. Will we still need the additional baking powder? I’m new to baking science 😅

I had a problem with the milk and simmering, it just wouldnt get thick even with the correct amount of butter and flour? I eventually got it down after a while but was still abit runny. Apart from that it did taste great

Easiest Chicken Biryani One Pot Recipe you'll ever make! 😋 🙌✨️ 1kg chicken on the bone or boneless 3 large onions sliced finely 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped finely 1 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp kashmiri chilli 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp cumin seeds 3 tbsp oil 3 tbsp ghee Whole spices, bay leaf, 2 star anise, few cloves, 1 cinnamon stick and few whole black peppercorn 1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste Salt to taste Handful of fresh coriander, chopped Handful of fresh mint, chopped 1/2 fresh red and green pepper 3 cups par-boiled basmati rice Fried pototoes, cut into quarters, optional In a pot add oil and ghee. Throw in whole spices and cumin seeds. Fry onions until golden, keep aside about 5 tbsp of fried onions for garnish. Add in chicken, ginger and garlic, spices, stir and cover and cook until little moisture is left. Add in fresh tomatoes and fresh peppers. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes. Layer over with par-boiled rice, sprinkle over with fried onions, chopped mint and coriander and cover and finish off by heating everything through on low heat for 15 minutes. You can finish off with adding some fried potatoes ontop of your biryani when serving.
